Rebel Liked: Zig Zag by Ellen Wittlinger. Family troubles, road trip, boy problems, heading to college. A good read for YA-ers.

Couldn’t finish: Rebel by Willo Davis Roberts. Tall girl and tall boy meet and enjoy each other’s company. Girl points out why boy is marriage material way too often…especially since she is 14 years old. They get involved in a local mystery. Ugh. This book was not for me.

Currently reading: East by Edith Pattou. This is a wonderful retelling of the Beauty and the Beast story. The characters are captivating and original and the setting is chilling… literally. I took a break from sleeping this morning at about 3am to continue journeying with Rose towards the land of ice near the Arctic Circle.
