This Little Women reinvention (fractured fairy tale? fanfiction?) re-envisions Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy in present day, living on a military base in New Orleans while their father Frank is deployed and Marmee/Meredith is drinking more heavily with each passing day.

As a creative writing exercise, it’s fun, but hard to take someone messing the canon that I love.
