Wow. I devoured this in one sitting. Corporate lawyer is happy to get engaged to her boyfriend of two years, and has a plan she intends to follow: her dream job, their dream NYC apartment with a key to Gramercy Park. On the eve of her engagement, she drifts off to dream a vivid dream of herself five years in the future, in a different room, with a different man, and upon waking, tries to shed the premonition and proceed with her plans. Life gets in the way.
Five stars for excellent writing, pacing, and story.
